AROUND THE WORLD Jesus said "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel" - Mark 16v15 On this page we aim to provide you with details of how various people are involved in preaching in many places around the world.
Tim and Joy Beer - Loloma, Zambia Dear
all, We thank the Lord for many opportunities we have had during the dry season to spread the gospel and to teach the word of God to believers. We have had several gospel outreaches, which have been encouraging in both the interest from non-believers and also a good spirit of unity amongst those who have helped. This is also usually the time of year for conferences, since there is no rain there is less work in the fields for the local believers. The conferences typically last for two or three days, with four or five sessions per day and is a good opportunity to cover some important subjects. At the Chilumba Farm outreach there have been a number of professions in the last few weeks and about five wanting to be baptised. We hope to make arrangements shortly providing there is enough water in the one pool area that is part of the stream there. If not the rains have just started so it will not be long before there will be lots of water there. Our two little boys continue to develop and bring us much joy. They are true boys getting into everything from Mum's flour or milk powder, to any of Dad's tools or equipment, to removing plants from the garden. Joy has a theory that little boys have a magnetic attraction to dirt. Daniel is ready to start walking, so boyish activities will increase in the near future. We have just been donated two baby owls so they are quite fascinated with them. We
continue to be concerned with the Islamic mission to take over all of Southern
Africa. It seems that they are becoming very visible in both Eastern and
Northern Provinces of Zambia and are also channeling funds into the Zambian
government. Such Muslim activity will certainly do all it can to remove
our current evangelical RE syllabus from the schools. Please join with us
in prayer for the salvation of the Zambian people from such influences.
